Chunky thicccccc frosting

Anyone know if certain methods produce that super grainy chunky aesthetic the frosting on stuff like the Signature 1 from Greubel has VS the Breguet Tradition’s kind of smooth frosting? Is it a bead blasting grain size thing?

Goldfeather Imari Nabeshima

Collected this on the last day of March 2026, just in time for Seiko to book the sale for its financial year end Mar26 😂. This was introduced in Jan 2026 after the Goldfeather range was revived in 2023 with two models in gold. A slim watch at 8.3mm with a

Stéphane Pierre Biretrograde

Interesting seeing the same ruby cone thing from the handmade 2 GF. I wonder if we will see more used by watchmakers... SJX did a nice write up on this piece: https://watchesbysjx.com/2026/04/stephane-pierre-l-impetrant.html Thoughts?

I feel nothing. Is it the watch or am I dead inside? 😂

I sat with this for a while because I think I should love it but seeing it brought neither excitement nor disdain, not dismissal, just nothing at all. FB center seconds and offset hour minute, GF style half plate, KV style balance bridge with integrated s

Vianney has been improving quite a few things on the initial product and servicing this generation is indeed -very-costly. This means that once the upgrade done, the next service, simple one, should be much, much less. I've seen Classic serviced for aroun

Huge congrats! And another variant to add to my catalogue, had not seen a two tone stainless version! Your watch is really interesting, two tone like the platinum watches but in a steel case with blued screws. Beautiful!

Since these are all numbered, new variants like yours don't seem to add to the total production. There are some piece uniques with 1/1 number plates so total production was more than the original 66. If you don't mind sharing your number XX/11 over PM I'd

The Signature 1 production is interesting with more variance across the production run and 33 stainless than is really known. I've been trying to see if I can catalogue all 66+ in my spare time....

For the stainless steel there are officially 33 watches, 11 each in 3 variants: 11 Silver movement, anthracite dial, blued screws 11 Rose Gold movement, Anthracite dial, silvered screws 11 USA edition, 2 tone Black and Silver movement Blue dial, blued scr

GF Signature 1 questions

Hello, New member. I am hoping to find out some information on the Signature 1. In particular, the stainless steel version. As I understand it, there were 33 made in SS. It appears there were 3 series of 11 pieces each. Does anyone know how these were bro
